Sam Purchase receives funding for enabling access to heritage science and conservation resources

We are pleased to announce that one of our Network Member's, Samantha Purchase, has been awarded funding from the Heritage Science Data Service (HSDS) Small Grants 2026 round to bring together existing archived datasets derived from the archaeological human remains of c. 2,000 individuals, from more than c. 50 archaeological sites, curated in the human osteology archaeology collection in the School of Biosciences at the University of Sheffield, into a publicly accessible resource hosted by the HSDS. You can learn more about the grant scheme and Sam's project here.
